A portrait session can be fun!.
It just takes a little careful planning for it to be an
enjoyable experience for everyone.
All work is done on location,
so the first step is choosing one that suits you. An
interesting backyard or a local
park are two popular options. I will be happy to suggest other scenic
locations.
The next consideration is how
to dress for the photo shoot. I highly recommend solid colours. No polka dots, stripes, slogans or
other distracting patterns. Medium tones are best. It is important to make
sure that your outfits are complimentary however they do not need to match.
Lay the clothes out on a bed at home and see how they look together. I also
highly recommend that for young children that you have a change of clothes.
The photo session will take
anywhere from 1-3 hours. Often the best photos are taken later in the session
when everybody is relaxed and has forgotten about the camera. It is important
that all children have had a good nights sleep and that they have had a snack
before we start. For this reason alone, it is best that all photographic work
with young children be done early in the morning.
Relax and enjoy. Let the
children have fun and when they are relaxed we will start.
All work is done using the
latest digital technology. I will
shoot all of the images in a large format thus allowing for the best possible
enlargements. Reprints and
enlargements are available in
many different sizes. Enlargements are available for
collection two weeks after selection. All selected images are
professionally presented in presentation envelopes. Designer albums can be
ordered in a large variety of sizes and styles. As these are made to the
clients specifications the delivery time is approximately four weeks.
A $100 deposit is required for
all portrait packages.
